Selections from the Writings of the Bab was first issued in 1976 in a hardcover edition by the Baha'i World Centre, Haifa, Israel. A lightweight edition with an index was issued in 1982. This pocket-sized edition includes paragraph numbering, and is published with the permission of the Baha'i World Centre.
